Privacy, and info for schools

Last updated October 31, 2026

Kid arKade is a free games site made by a parent for kids. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking and nothing to buy. We don't collect kids' names, emails, photos, locations or anything else about who they are.

What stays on your device

Game progress, stars, unlocked items and settings are saved in your browser's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing the browser's site data deletes them, and they don't follow you to other devices.

In Color by Number, Make your own turns a photo into a coloring page right on the device. The photo is never uploaded.

Play a Friend

Some two-player games can be played on two devices with a 4-letter code. To make that work, our server briefly keeps the game board, the moves, and a picture (like an animal emoji) each player picks from a fixed list. There is no chat and no typing of names, and the only reactions are a few fixed emoji. There is no public list of games, so you can only join with a code someone gives you. A game is deleted an hour after the last move, and never kept more than six hours.

Picture Maker

In Picture Maker, kids type a short idea (like "a sloth eating pizza on the moon") and pick an art style, and an AI draws it. The idea is sent to our server, which uses Cloudflare's Workers AI to check it and draw it. Before a picture is shown, the idea is checked by a word list and two AI safety checkers, and the finished picture is checked by another AI; anything that doesn't pass is thrown away. No safety check is perfect, so please tell us at feedback@kidarkade.com if you ever see something that shouldn't be there.

We don't save the ideas or the pictures on our server, and they aren't used to train AI. Finished pictures are kept only on the device that made them. To keep the number of pictures to a daily limit, the server counts, for that day only, how many pictures each device has made (by a random number the page makes up, not a name) and how many came from each internet connection (by a code made from the address that changes every day and can't be turned back into it). The counts are wiped each day.

What we don't use

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each visitor's internet (IP) address to deliver pages and block attacks, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't use those addresses to identify or follow anyone. All pages use a secure (https) connection.

Emailing us

The Ideas button opens your own email app to write to us. We ask kids to have a grown-up send it. If a child emails us, we use the message only to read the idea and maybe reply once, and we don't add anyone to a mailing list.

Donations

The Support button links to our Ko-fi page, a separate website for grown-ups who want to help pay for the site. Nothing is sold on Kid arKade, and kids never need to visit Ko-fi to play.

Children's privacy

Kid arKade is made for kids, including kids under 13. Because we don't collect personal information from them, there is nothing to sell or share, and nothing for a parent to request or delete from us. If you think we've received personal information from your child, email feedback@kidarkade.com and we will delete it.
